Inner door

The inner door provides a multi-layered approach. Firstly it is a substantially made product which would have to be attacked by cutting etc as there is no conventional lock to attack. This will take time which will in-turn increase the likelihood of detection.

The second feature it brings is achieved by interacting with the existing ATM security, it achieves this by effectively locking the existing ATM doors locking mechanism. In fact even if you do not lock the outer door the inner door will lock it more securely than if you had.

The third feature is that the inner door helps the outer door resist a grinding or oxy-acetylene attack.
